Knightess. 🙂

I can understand the desire to reconfirm the state of un-maleness of the character, but a Knight is a Knight is a Knight, and no additional letters need be added to the title. Doing so calls undue scrutiny.

There has been a couple of questions about the word “knightess”. I’m not a native english speaker and with words like actress, waitress, etc. knightess just felt locigal… no other purpose behind it but the fact that I’m bad in english. 🙂

Re-blogged in the wrong blog at first. ’^^

…what undue scrutiny
She looks cool anyway

@pettry: I have both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in English, and I think ‘knightess’ is a wonderful word. I rather wish I’d thought of it myself, in fact.

“My innocence is not lost—it has been converted into wisdom. The sensation we call “breaking” is the pain that comes from resisting the truth. Life broke parts of me that needed to fall away for me to live an open and truthful life.”
